We are pleased to announce the launch of a new website dedicated to the coral reefs of Eilat, one of Israel’s most unique and fragile marine habitats.
Developed through a collaboration between the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel and the Interuniversity Institute for Marine Sciences in Eilat, the website offers up-to-date information about the reefs: their condition, the threats they face, and the complex ecosystem thriving beneath the surface.
Making knowledge accessible is more than an educational goal – it is essential to fostering genuine public engagement and a sense of shared responsibility. When clear, trustworthy information is within reach, it enables a better understanding of ecological complexity and the need for long-term conservation.
