About the Initiative<\/h2>\n \n \n

Yad Hanadiv\u2019s Academic Excellence Programme supports the Humanities 360 programme to strengthen the Humanities in Israeli academia, in partnership with the Planning and Budgeting Committee of the Council for Higher Education (VATAT). It integrates Humanities content into undergraduate degree programmes, exposing students in engineering, computer science, biology and other fields to Humanities-based language, values and reasoning.<\/p>\n

The programme encourages academic institutions to develop initiatives that embed dedicated Humanities content as an integral part of professional training, in keeping with approaches adopted by leading higher education institutions worldwide.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n
