Hanadiv Fellowship
The Hanadiv Fellowship programme was active from 1994-2010. It was established with the goal of improving the quality of European and Western History at Israeli universities. Fellowships were awarded to outstanding scholars in European and Western history who were in the final stages of work on a doctoral dissertation, and for those with a PhD who did not hold tenure at an institution of higher learning. The Fellowship was intended to allow recipients to progress significantly in their post-doctoral research and work. As of 2011 the Hanadiv Fellowship will be integrated into the Rothschild Fellowship programme.
